Are Banjo Brothers Panniers Vegan?

Posted July 14, 2015 @ 10:54am

Are Banjo Brothers Panniers Vegan?Do the Market Pannier or Grocery Bag Panniers use leather or other animal products? I'm trying to figure out whether or not they're suitable for vegans. Thanks! Pierce RandallAnswer: The #01085 Banjo Brothers Market Pannier and the #01080 Banjo Brothers Grocery Pannier are not made with animal products, making them effectively "Vegan". It should be noted these bags also like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, they're not much into health food, but but they've got half-a-brain.PS: The #05006 Banjo Brothers Minnehaha Grocery Pannier is also "Vegan."#vegan #panniers #rupertholmes #Q&A

Beyond the Dealer Locator: Using Buy Local Now To Find Banjo BrothersOver a year ago Banjo Brothers added the BUY LOCAL NOW button to all product pages. Information to Help You Work with Buy Local NowBUT, we have noticed that some consumers still don't understand how BUY LOCAL NOW works and we need to get more local bike dealers to realize how powerful this can be for their businesses. So, as part of the education process, here's a little tutorial on using buy local now - why it's better than any dealer locator out there and how it can help you find the products you want at your local bike...

FAQ: What is the Weight Limit of the #01033 Waterproof Saddle Trunk

Posted August 28, 2014 @ 1:04pm

FAQ: What is the Weight Limit of the #01033 Waterproof Saddle TrunkQuestion: Do you have a recommended weight limit for your Waterproof Saddle Trunk (Item #01033)? I would be using it for backpacking on a full suspension mountain bike trip. - MarkAnswer: Mark: For weight, I'd say anything you put in it will stay within the weight limit (unless you are carrying chunks of steel) Water bottle plus tools and clothes should be no problem.Do not add any extra weight by hanging anything off of the pack heavier than a rain jacket, however. You could strap something below the bag as long as that weight is borne by the saddle rails and not the pack itself. I have carried an extra pair of shoes this way by strapping them with a long webbing loop around the bag and through the rails.
